Places Unsaid is a community storytelling project produced by Two Monkeys Agency, with support from the City of Melville, that celebrates the people and memories behind our local places. Through film, photography and interviews, it captures the experiences of older residents, preserving personal stories that might otherwise go untold. An interactive story map allows people to explore Melville through the eyes of those who have lived and worked there.
The project also connects generations through Places Unsaid: Through Their Eyes, a photographic exhibition involving students from Leeming Senior High School. Together, these stories celebrate community identity, belonging and the connections we build with places throughout our lives, helping preserve those memories for future generations.
