CLUB SERVICE REPORT

                                                                     CLUB ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE REPORT 2015-2016
 
 
 
This year we started out with a committee of Janet Knowles, PP Allie Humphreys, Wayne
Milnes, Michelle Udy, Leanne Beattie, Albert Chandler and Karen Kelly-Ketu.
 
Unfortunately we lost Janet Knowles, Albert Chandler and Karen Kelly-Ketu for various reasons they all resigned from the club, However PP Ray Bath was elected to take the place of Janet Knowles for the rest of the year as Club Administration Director.
 
Our program for each month was that the first Monday of the month was committee meetings, the second Monday we had a guest speaker followed by Board meetings away from the Clipper Inn, the third Monday was a Partners night with guest speaker and the fourth Monday we had a guest speaker.
 
In August Wayne Milnes prepared the Club Directory which Michelle volunteered to print and bind for the club thanks to Wayne and Michelle for a job well done.
 
The Board approved the distribution of the New Constitution and by-laws Thanks to Wayne
Milnes for his work in preparing the constitution.
 
The committee organised Name Plates for Members, Partners, Guest Speakers and Visitors to enable seating to be arranged at club meetings, however this did not prove to be very popular and were not used during the latter part of the year.
 
Janet Knowles organised the purchase of new club polo shirts for all club members and partners.
 
In January we had our annual Robbie Burns night which was held at the Alfred Hines camp and was a wonderful night organised and catered for by Rob and Sheelagh Purdie.
 
In April Ray Bath who was the winner of the previous Combined Presidents Car Rally organised a rally which was only attended by 15 cars however it was won by Team Beattie so Leanne has the task of organising the next rally.
 
In April we were offered the opportunity to attend The Rockingham Theatre Company’s production of Key for Two which was an excellent comedy and the club benefited by $10.00 for every ticket sold.
 
On the 30th May we organised a visit by the Western Australian of the year Ann Carey and Wayne Milnes organised a Joint meeting with other local Rotary Clubs which was a great night with over 50 people in attendance.
 
During October we had a Fancy Hat night to raise money for Rotary Mental Health and Wayne organised a Sausage and Meat Ball Night at his home to raise money for Prostate Cancer Research which was very well attended thanks to Wayne and Suzanne.
 
In December we had our Christmas Party at the CWA Hall and a BBQ at Peter and Beth
Philipps home many thanks to Peter and Beth for throwing open their home.
 
A committee was formed and chaired By Alex Acton and organised a Rotary Information night which was held in February and was attended by a large number of guests and we received 2 new members from. Many thanks to Alex and her committee for doing such a wonderful job.
 
During the year we had two social visits to the Wing Bo Chinese Restaurant which proved very popular with everybody; we had a visit to the Salvation Army to inspect the Bus and Kitchen we donated money towards.
 
As Club Administration Director I would like to thank my committee for the excellent work they have done over the year especially as we were short of numbers for the last half of the Year.
